Face to Face Support
The human body is a finely tuned, complex and infinitely intelligent system working as a highly organised “whole” to ensure optimum physical, emotional, and mental well-being. Given the correct foods, sunlight, fresh air, and water the human body has an incredible, self-regulating capacity to keep us healthy and well throughout life. |
Modern living, stress, junk food, prescription drugs, obesity and lack of exercise can change the body’s biochemistry and hormone balance gradually overriding its protective mechanisms which can lead to premature ageing, and a lifetime of pain, and chronic disease.
Simple changes to diet and lifestyle, sleep patterns, stress and relaxation techniques combined with the knowledge and power of plant medicine can form a highly effective and preventative defence against disease.

Certain ailments and acute symptoms such as high temperature or localised pain can often be dealt with swiftly. However, long-term, chronic symptoms of disease may have taken years to manifest and are likely to require a significant period of time to repair and heal.
Consultations
Face to Face appointments are the preferred mode of consultation, however if time or distance are a barrier, video calls can be helpful except in cases where a physical examination is necessary.
A 90-minute consultation allows me to investigate the body as a whole and not as a sum of individual parts which is the current wisdom of conventional medicine. For example, if you seek advice from your GP regarding weepy and inflamed lesions of eczema, your GP is likely to prescribe a cream to apply externally, rather than to look to the gut for a potential over-growth of fungus or recognise a toxic bowel or liver eliminating waste products directly into the blood stream and affecting the skin.
During your consultation I will take an in-depth medical history and a clinical examination if necessary to enable me to assess and get to the root of the problem. A full diagnosis can then be made and a personalised prescription formulated using evidence-based, bioactive plant medicines.
Follow Up Appointments
A 45 minute follow up appointment is recommended in order to monitor and support your herbal treatment, review progress, answer any questions that you may have and adjust your prescription if necessary.
Personalised Nutrition & Lifestyle Report
As extra resource, in addition to your consultation and / or follow up appointment, we can prepare a personalised plan which will help you to make more informed choices, learn about and appreciate how food can be used as medicine, reduce presenting symptoms and improve your health for long term and sustained results. This report will be based on the unique findings of your consultation and will contain a depth of information specific to your symptoms and will contain knowledge found only within the discipline of herbal medicine.
Please be aware that if you cancel your consultation within 48 hours of the agreed time, a cancellation fee may apply.
